the unbroken and consistent existence or operation of something over a period of time.
as soon as i saw this theme i knew immediately how i wanted to show my interpretation of it. when i think of things that are in constant existence in my life, one of the first things that comes to mind is my husband and the love we share for each other. those who know us well know that it is actually quite difficult to remember a time i didn’t have marc in my life. we began as high school sweethearts at the ages of 15 and 17, and now as i approach 31 (what?!) it is amazing to consider i have literally been sharing my love with marc for over half my life!! the Lord has seen us through some difficult times – selfishness, family troubles, long distances, deployments, and life changes and uncertainties…yet through it all his unconditional love toward me has never wavered, nor has mine for him. it is always there. no matter what.
this is actually one of those oldie-but-goodies that our daughter happened to snap of the two of us a couple years ago, shortly before marc deployed to afghanistan…to this day it is still one of my favorites!
