project 52 {week 31} joy

there are so many things throughout any given day that bring me and my family joy, but hands down one of the most joyful moments during the day is when my husband returns home from work. this is an especially lovely sight for my eyes after enduring many long months during deployments where we didn’t have that moment to savor at the end of the day…I often think of my friends across the country whose husbands are still serving in the marine corps who are missing this sweet sight. i am quickly reminded not to take these seemingly insignificant moments for granted. here you see our youngest, nathan, setting his sights on his daddy after he pulled into the driveway…he’s also obsessed with practicing his new skill: waving. enjoy!
